We're looking for a compassionate and organized Unit Manager (RN) who enjoys leading a team, building meaningful relationships with residents and families, and creating an environment where both residents and employees thrive.
This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who values leadership just as much as clinical excellence. You'll partner closely with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary team to ensure outstanding resident care, support your nursing staff, and help new residents feel welcomed from the moment they arrive.
What You'll Do
- Welcome new residents and families, ensuring a smooth and positive admission experience.
- Coordinate resident admissions, assessments, and care planning.
- Lead, coach, and support nursing staff while promoting excellence in resident care.
- Review physician orders and oversee accurate, timely clinical documentation.
- Monitor resident care plans, quality measures, and regulatory compliance.
- Partner with the Director of Nursing to maintain survey readiness and high clinical standards.
- Provide education, guidance, and daily clinical support to nurses and nursing assistants.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team.
- Step in to provide clinical support when needed to ensure exceptional resident care.

Qualifications

Current Texas RN license in good standing.

Long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or senior living experience preferred.

Strong assessment, documentation, and organizational skills.

Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills with residents, families, physicians, and team members.

Working knowledge of state and federal regulations related to long-term care preferred.
