Duties
- Mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support in clinical practices.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA.
- Conduct regular assessments of patient care quality and implement improvements as needed.
- Facilitate training and development programs for nursing staff to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and oversee the management of medical records.
- Participate in utilization review processes to optimize resource allocation and patient outcomes.
- Address patient concerns and complaints promptly, fostering a culture of safety and quality.
Experience
Candidates should have a robust background in various nursing specialties, including but not limited to:
- Long-term care experience (nursing home, assisted living)
- Dialysis, IV infusion, catheterization, phlebotomy
- Experience with EMR systems (PCC)
- Experience in skilled nursing
- Knowledge of geriatrics and behavioral health
- Supervisory experience within a healthcare environment
The ideal candidate will also demonstrate proficiency in patient assessment, medication administration, infection control practices, and basic life support.

Skills Required
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Supervisory/management experience in a healthcare environment
- Experience with EMR systems (PCC)
- Long-term care experience (nursing home, assisted living)
- Skilled nursing experience
- Dialysis, IV infusion, catheterization, phlebotomy experience
- Knowledge of geriatrics and behavioral health
- Proficiency in patient assessment and medication administration
- Infection control practices knowledge
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare regulatory compliance
