THE POSITION
The Uniforms Manager is responsible for the planning and operational delivery of the corporate FIFA27 Business Casual uniform as well as the FWWC2027 Tournament Dedicated and FIFA Formal uniform programmes in line with the overall FIFA Uniform Strategy and the approved usage and entitlement matrix.

- Responsible for project management and implementation of the FWWC2027 uniform programme including issuance operations that support both workforce and volunteers
- Ensure all FIFA27 workforce have uniform according to the entitlement and usage matrix
- Effectively collaborate with key FIFA Zurich and FIFA27 stakeholders including Workforce Planning, Volunteer Management, Host City Management, Logistics, Accreditation and Partnership Rights Delivery
- Create strategy, process and flows for the full project plan for FWWC2027 uniform programme capturing risks and mitigations throughout
- Develop the operational plan, setting up affiliated systems, identify functional distribution spaces, engage with stakeholders, contract local suppliers to deliver the FWWC2027 uniform programme, across all the Uniforms Distribution Centers
- Oversee FIFA27 uniform budget, including creating accurate forecasts for each FIFA27 related event e.g. FWWC2027 Draw
- Manage relationships with external uniform suppliers that may be required, ensuring compliance in line with Framework Agreement and enforcing contractual obligations
- Recruit and effectively train and manage the uniforms team (both workforce and volunteers) during planning and delivery periods ensuring best practices are clearly defined and the service level provided across all Uniform Distribution Centers is consistent
- Manage stock levels and keep up-to-date records of each uniform item during pre-tournament (e.g. Business Casual uniform/ formal items that may be required for side events) and tournament time.
- Communicate the agreed FIFA27 Uniform Guidelines and Usage Policy at each FIFA tournament and event
- Ensure the uniform guidelines are upheld and enforced across all client groups including FIFA Formal Uniform eligibility
- Plan uniform distribution to all related FWW2027 additional events, e.g. Final Draw,
- Work with relevant FIFA27 stakeholders to agree and provide guidelines to Suppliers who are not entitled to Tournament Dedicated Uniforms Other duties as necessary to ensure the smooth running of the FWWC2027 Uniform operations.
YOUR PROFILE
- Minimum experience of 3 years in Uniform Management; preferably with experience in mega (sports) events and corporate organisations
- Excellent people manager, motivating, inspiring and seeing results through others
- Knowledge of event planning and event project management processes
- Strong IT skill including MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)
- Fluency in Brazilian Portuguese and English. Other languages are an added benefit
- Strong written and oral communication
- Proven track record in administering uniform projects across complex quantity structures
- Team Player, willing to work to tight timelines
- Positive attitude, patience and persistence, with a pragmatic approach to solving problems
- Excellent time management skills and ability to balance competing priorities
- Demonstrate initiative and a strong focus on providing a high level of service
- Right to work in Brazil.
- Ability to re-locate to Rio de Janeiro.
