Position Overview

The Product Manager, User Success plays a critical role in shaping how Autodesk transforms user understanding into measurable product and business impact. This role is accountable for defining and delivering the product strategy for User Success platforms and data products—including AI-powered insights systems, feedback infrastructure, and decision-support tools—that enable teams to operate with greater clarity, speed, and confidence.

This role exists to address a fundamental challenge: fragmented user intelligence and slow insight-to-action cycles limit our ability to make informed decisions and scale user-centric innovation. By building integrated, AI-enabled product capabilities, this role helps establish a unified system for capturing, synthesizing, and activating user insights across the organization—directly accelerating progress toward a mature product insights function.

Operating at the intersection of research, analytics, and product, this Product Manager will lead the development of scalable systems that connect qualitative insight, behavioral data, and market context into a cohesive decision-making ecosystem. The role is expected to drive meaningful change—shifting teams from fragmented, reactive workflows to proactive, continuous, and insight-driven product development.

Success in this role means enabling the organization to move faster and smarter: improving product prioritization, increasing user satisfaction, and ensuring that investments are consistently aligned with real user needs and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the product vision and roadmap for User Success platforms, including insights hubs, feedback systems, and AI-enabled decision tools

  • Translate organizational strategy into scalable product capabilities that improve how user insights inform product and business decisions

  • Identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities that accelerate the transition to an integrated, AI-powered product insights function

  • Drive long-term platform thinking, ensuring systems are extensible, interoperable, and aligned with future organizational needs

  • Build and scale systems that connect user research, behavioral analytics, and feedback into unified, actionable insights

  • Define product capabilities that enable continuous opportunity identification, prioritization, and impact tracking

  • Ensure clear pathways from insight generation → product decision → measurable outcome

  • Partner with teams to operationalize insights into roadmap prioritization, experimentation, and delivery

  • Lead the development of AI-powered capabilities (e.g., automated synthesis, feedback analysis, insight discovery, decision support tools)

  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI to increase the speed, scale, and quality of insight generation and activation

  • Ensure responsible, effective integration of AI into workflows, balancing automation with human judgment

  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies and evolving practices, translating them into practical product innovation

  • Partner closely with Research, Analytics, Growth, Engineering, and Design to deliver integrated solutions

  • Operate within cross-functional pods, aligning product direction with domain priorities and business goals

  • Drive alignment across stakeholders, ensuring shared understanding of priorities, trade-offs, and outcomes

  • Influence senior leaders by connecting product strategy to business impact and user value

  • Define and deliver data products that enable visibility into user behavior, sentiment, and product performance

  • Ensure systems are designed for scalability, usability, and adoption across diverse teams

  • Partner with engineering and data teams to build robust, reliable, and high-quality infrastructure

  • Establish clear success metrics and continuously optimize product performance

  • Create repeatable product processes that enable consistent, high-quality delivery across initiatives

  • Balance strategic thinking with execution rigor, ensuring timely and impactful delivery

  • Drive adoption of tools and systems across the organization through enablement and change management

  • Continuously improve how teams work, identifying inefficiencies and scaling best practices

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally working on platforms, data products, or internal tools

  • Proven ability to define product strategy and deliver complex, cross-functional initiatives with measurable impact

  • Experience working with or alongside research, analytics, or data science teams

  • Strong understanding of product development lifecycle, including discovery, prioritization, and delivery

  • Demonstrated ability to translate user needs and data into clear product decisions and roadmap direction

  • Experience building or scaling systems (platforms, tools, workflows) used by internal teams or customers

  • Familiarity with AI/ML-driven products or strong interest in applying AI to product and workflow innovation

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at multiple levels

  • Strong analytical thinking and comfort working with both qualitative and quantitative inputs
