To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Unidata / Universe/ Pick Basic / JBase / T24 Developer - IT located in Chennai / Coimbatore location.

Reporting to the Manager, and the role involves:

What a typical day looks like:

• Report to the Global Development Lead and work closely with the Solution Managers who provide detailed specifications and manage projects.

• Responsible for analyzing requirements and converting them into technical specifications as well as develop them.

• Follow defined development procedures independently.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Batchelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.

• Min 5+Yrs of experience in software development and 2-3 Yrs of experience of Universe Multi-Value Database or similar like Pick Basic / JBase / T24 Developer, etc.

• Experience of Universe Basic programming language

• Experience of Universe query/command language

• Experience of Universe database table and index design

• Experience of structured programming techniques

• Basic knowledge of Unix

• Good Knowledge of SQL

• Knowledge on Inventory, Warehouse Management Systems and Logistics software systems would be an added advantage.

• Ability to support testing, troubleshooting and debugging

• Ability to interpret requirements and estimate development efforts

• Good communication and problem solving skills.
