We’re a high-performing, fast-moving team with ethics at the center of everything we do. Expectations are high, and so are the rewards.
Robinhood is building out its firm-commitment underwriting capability to manage and co-manage IPOs and follow-on equity offerings, while continuing to operate an established distribution channel that brings new issues to Robinhood's retail customers. This role is the firm's registered representative across both functions — overseeing firm-commitment underwriting activity and the distribution of new issues to retail customers — responsible for daily processing, compliance controls, and regulatory engagement across the end-to-end lifecycle of a deal.
You will guide deal execution from due diligence through pricing, allocation, and settlement on the underwriting side. You'll ensure all activity meets regulatory and internal standards across both sides of the deal. This role partners closely with Compliance, Finance, and Trading Operations to support successful execution while maintaining strong supervisory practices.
This role is based in our Chicago, IL, Denver, CO, Lake Mary, FL, or New York, NY office(s), with in-person attendance expected at least 5 days per week.
At Robinhood, we believe in the power of in-person work to accelerate progress, spark innovation, and strengthen community. Our office experience is intentional, energizing, and designed to fully support high-performing teams.

- Serve as subject-matter expert for the selection, build, or buy decision on the firm's underwriting operations stack
- Oversee operational execution of firm-commitment underwriting from due diligence through settlement, including syndicate activity and co-manager arrangements
- Partner with Compliance, Finance, and Operations to ensure accurate reporting, regulatory filings, and readiness for review
- You hold FINRA Series 79 licenses (Series 24 strong preferred as well)
- You have 4–7 years of experience in equity underwriting operations, investment banking compliance, or capital markets
- You demonstrate knowledge of FINRA Rules 5110, 5130, 5131, and 3110 in practical application

- You bring strong experience in compliance operations, reporting, and supervisory program management
- Challenging, high-impact work to grow your career.
- Performance-driven compensation with multipliers for outsized impact, bonus programs, equity ownership, and 401(k) matching.
