The Role
Our high-performing Queensland environmental team is growing with a wide range of interesting projects and sustainable design. We are a large multidisciplinary company with iconic projects across renewables, environmental studies, dam & hydropower, solar power projects, energy transition, roads and in-land rail.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Environmental Planning/Scientist Undergraduate to join our Brisbane team.
This is a great opportunity to learn and enhance your academic studies whilst building lasting friendships, professional relationships and networks.
Key responsibilities:
- Assisting in developing environmental impact assessments, approval applications and other studies and management plans
Ideal applicants will have/be:
- Completing final year studies in Urban and Environmental Planning or Environmental Science
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary environment
- A keen desire to grow and develop your skills with a positive energy
- Committed to making the best of your time at SMEC
