This position provides software design, development and quality oversight of complex software systems. This position has no responsibility for providing care to patients.

ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions- Developer within the ServiceNow team to complete development activities within the platform.
- Analyzes and evaluates existing systems with some oversight and defines problems, data availability, reports requirements and system designs issues.
- Assists in designs, configuration, and development of custom applications and software modules. Utilizes scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub) while adhering to standard practices.
- Assists in the design and develops applications using integrations (REST/SOAP, JSON/XML) using Integration Hub/MID Server where applicable.
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts and Agile methodologies.
- Works within a team dynamic to improve the platform.
- Ability to assess the situation, diagnose symptoms and causes of issues, determine goals and recommend actions to either meet goals or rectify issues, based on analysis of information.
- Excellent knowledge of systems and software design.
- Excellent knowledge of software engineering principles.
- Demonstrated knowledge of.NET, C#, Java, J2E, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, SharePoint, System Center Operations Manager, Virtualization Technologies, Team Foundation Server, etc.
- Solid understanding of Software Development Lifecycle process.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to discuss requirements modeling, development and system level requirements with non-technical personnel.
- Expertise in secured WEB design and development.
- Background in systems and network administration a valuable plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Three years of web and software development experience.
- Master's degree.
- Experience in a healthcare industry and with systems integrations.
- Experience with BizTalk is a valuable plus.
