OverviewThe Unattended Payments Solutions Manager leads the expansion of TNS's unattended payments business in Italy, driving market development, strategic partnerships, and solution innovation to accelerate growth across the Parking, EV Charging, Mobility, Ticketing, and Self-Service sectors.ResponsibilitiesThe Unattended Payments Solutions & Business Development Manager is responsible for accelerating TNS's growth in the Italian unattended payments market, with a focus on Parking, EV Charging, Vending, Ticketing, Retail Self-Service, and Mobility.
The role combines business development, payment solution expertise, and ecosystem management. Acting as the subject matter expert for unattended payment solutions, the successful candidate will support opportunity qualification, solution definition, partner development, and go-to-market execution in Italy. The role works closely with the Corporate Account Executive & Unattended Payments Business Lead, Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Operations, and Delivery teams.
Business DevelopmentIdentify and develop new unattended payment opportunities across the Italian market.
Build, qualify, and manage a dedicated sales pipeline.
Support the revenue and growth objectives of the unattended payments sector.
Develop relationships with key customers, operators, and market stakeholders.
Represent TNS at relevant industry events, trade shows, and market associations.
Support Sales in the technical, functional, and commercial qualification of opportunities.
Design and position the most appropriate solution for each customer requirement.
Participate in workshops, presentations, discovery sessions, and technical discussions.
Contribute to business cases, proposals, and commercial offerings.
Support solution integration, onboarding, and certification activities.
Build and manage relationships with PSPs, acquirers, processors, gateway providers, and payment technology vendors.
Develop partnerships with solution providers operating in parking, EV charging, vending, ticketing, mobility, and self-service sectors.
Identify, qualify, and facilitate the onboarding of new partners.
Coordinate commercial and technical activities between external partners and internal teams.
Support joint go-to-market initiatives.
Capture market and customer requirements and translate them into actionable product roadmap recommendations.
Monitor market trends, standards, competitors, and emerging payment technologies.
Support the definition and positioning of the Italian Unattended Payments proposition.
Evaluate new payment methods, terminal solutions, and unattended payment architectures.
Partner with Marketing on campaigns, events, content creation, and demand generation activities.
Collaborate with Sales during customer and partner engagements.
Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Operations, Service Delivery, Compliance, and Finance teams.
Monitor integrations, milestones, delivery status, risks, and escalations.
Maintain Salesforce and internal project tracking tools.
Provide regular reporting on pipeline performance, partnerships, deliverables, and risks.
Experience within the payments industry, ideally in business development, pre-sales, solution management, product management, partnerships, or a related field.
Experience working with acquirers, PSPs, gateways, processors, or payment technology vendors.
Knowledge of payment integration, onboarding, and certification processes.
Experience managing technical, commercial, and operational stakeholder relationships.
An established professional network within the Italian payments market would be advantageous.
Good understanding of payment ecosystems, transaction flows, and unattended payment architectures.
Knowledge of EMV, ISO 8583, Android terminals, payment gateways, and terminal integration frameworks.
Familiarity with one or more of the following sectors: Parking, Mobility, EV Charging, Ticketing, Vending, or Retail Self-Service.
Understanding of European payment market dynamics, standards, and key compliance requirements.
Strong business development and relationship-building skills.
Consultative approach with the ability to connect market needs, solutions, and commercial value.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical, commercial, and senior stakeholders.
