This role requires current BLS through the American Heart Associates and ARDMS Certification
This role is located in Columbus, NC
- Monitors and manages daily workflow, including patient communication, transportation, and discharge.
- Follows infection control standards and handles pharmaceutical waste according to training.
- Participates in data collection and performance improvement projects. Performs quality assurance on imaging equipment and report any issues promptly. Performs ultrasound imaging exams on patients of all age groups, ensuring high-quality results.
- Operates specific imaging equipment proficiently and adhere to departmental policies and procedures. Educates and trains new technologists and students on imaging procedures and equipment use.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Individuals must possess these knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and to demonstrate that s/he can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities. [Required]
- Ability to learn and use Radiology software packages such as IDX, Radworks, Current PACS application. [Required]
- Ability to quickly learn and follow departmental policies and procedures. [Required]
- Maintain responsibility for all continuing and annual education. [Required]
- Must maintain all required registries and licenses to perform imaging procedures. [Required]
