Job Summary:
With limited supervision, coordinates the delivery of health care services to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients, providing a wide range of diagnostic exams, including but not limited to breast, abdominal, small parts, GYN, vascular and in office ultrasound guided biopsies. Establishes and maintains standards of care in Ultrasound sciences. Exercises professional judgment in performance of duties. Assures appropriate patient care management and adjust daily operations to meet the needs of a changing work environment. Involved with staff competencies, schedules, and educational needs.
Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures Required:
Graduate from an accredited program.
Holds current credentials as a Registered Ultrasound Technologist.
Basic Life Support and other advanced training as appropriate.
