Requirements:
- 2 years of experience required.
- Previous Charge Experience preferred
- Flu Vaccine Required - No Exemptions
- Epic Charting System Experience Required.
- Community Hospital Experience Required.
- Required PEDs and Transplant experience and ability to scan both.
- LTAC Experience Preferred.
- Trauma Level I & II Experience Preferred.
- 1st time travelers are okay if they have the experience in PEDs and Transplants
- Required Certifications: BLS & ARDMS
- Patient Diagnoses: pediatric emergent cases: appendicitis, pylorus stenosis, intussusception, torsion, occasional hip effusion
- Skills: Obstetrics 1st trimester from ER, occasional 2nd or 3rd trimester limited exam for unsure dates, r/o ovarian torsion/ectopic, possibly paracentesis (rare)
Preferred Skills/Certifications/Experience:
- Certs: ARDMS PS, ARDMS RVT
- Transplant program: kidney, liver, rarely pancreas transplant (do CT if needed)
occasional TIPS from the ER. - NICU neonatal head ultrasound
- Occasional Breast ultrasound from the ER for mastitis, abscess check
- GE E10 ultrasound equipment in the exam rooms.
- GE Fortis portable unit, GE S8 portable unit
- Trophon 2 high level disinfection.
Schedule:
- Shift: Night 4x10-Hour (8:00 PM-6:00 AM)
