Ultrasonographer – Cardiac Imaging – Albany, NY - FT

What you will do:
The Registered Ultrasonographer is responsible for the performance, measurement and calculation of ultrasound studies. Completes a concise summary of the findings for use by the interpreting cardiologist. Prioritizes studies to ensure timeliness of patient care. Maintains working knowledge of all systems and equipment.
Responsibilities:
Pre Procedural Prep
Accurately enters data
Performs echocardiography to include M-mode, 2-D, Doppler as indicated
Assists MD and other staff with TEES, Stress echo, Pharmacology studies
Obtains proper views as indicated
Utilizes settings/techniques to enhance image clarity for optimal MD review
Post Procedural Charting and documentation
What you will need:
2-3 years of hospital or office based Ultrasonographer
Experience in stress echo, carotid ultrasound and abdominal aortic ultrasound highly preferred
Associates Degree required, BA Preferred
Current ARDMS registration
Ability to lift 20 lbs.
Pay Range: $38.45 - $54.86
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.

Skills Required
- 2-3 years of hospital or office-based ultrasonography experience
- Experience performing echocardiography including M-mode, 2-D, and Doppler
- Current ARDMS registration
- Associates degree (BA preferred)
- Ability to lift 20 lbs.
- Experience in stress echo, carotid ultrasound, and abdominal aortic ultrasound
