If so, Acre Security is the place for you. Join us in making the world a safer place — one innovation at a time.
About Acre
At Acre, we're not just building security solutions — we’re empowering security professionals to adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing world. Since our inception in 2012, Acre has been at the forefront of innovation in access control, visitor management, and intrusion software. Our solutions are trusted by organizations in over 25 countries, delivering smarter, more adaptable, and easier-to-use security technologies that protect what matters most.
Your Impact
We’re looking for a talented Technical Account Manager to join our Solutions Group as part of our UK team. In this role, you will:

  • Support the bidding, design, scoping, and pricing of key security projects across the UK.
  • Work closely with the Key Accounts Director, UK delivery teams, clients, and key stakeholders.
  • Play a critical role in driving UK growth while supporting and expanding our existing client base.

Our integrated solutions are a core differentiator for Acre. This role requires a deep understanding of our market offerings and the ability to clearly articulate their value, applying innovative thinking while maintaining the highest standards of technical compliance and deliverability.
What You’ll Do
In addition to the above, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide technical pre-sales support, interpreting client security specifications and designing compliant, competitive solutions, including access control and CCTV.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders through meetings, site visits, and ongoing engagement to enhance the customer experience.
  • Identify and develop cross-sell and upsell opportunities across new and existing clients to support revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with supply chain partners to secure strategic pricing and deliver commercially robust proposals.
  • Work closely with Project Managers to support project delivery, including cost tracking, valuations, and commercial documentation.
  • Advise clients and internal teams on emerging security technologies, industry trends, and competitor activity.
  • Support business development by attending pre-project meetings, engaging with contractors, and identifying frameworks and routes to market.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring best-in-class service delivery while meeting or exceeding agreed sales targets, revenue goals, and KPIs.
What You’ll Bring
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
  • 5–10+ years’ experience in the electronic security sector, with a background as a technical security engineer and strong commercial awareness.
  • Proven experience in technical pre-sales, client relationship management, and solution design within a B2B environment.
  • Solid understanding of IT and IP networking, with hands-on experience in access control and CCTV systems.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including pricing, proposal development, and contract awareness.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels and adapt your style as needed.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with strong time management and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Confident, self-motivated, and enthusiastic, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel (intermediate level or above).
Nice to have:
  • Previous supervisory or senior-level experience, including mentoring or training others.

  • Software configuration, leadership, or commercial contract management experience.

  • An entrepreneurial mindset with experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales environments.

What's in it for You
We strive to do more than just match your ambitions — when you join Acre, you’ll have access to a range of exciting opportunities:

  • Be part of a disruptor that challenges the status quo in security technology.

  • Collaborate with industry experts and innovators.

  • Make a real impact by contributing to solutions that protect businesses and communities.

  • Grow your career through training, mentorship, and development opportunities.

  • Enjoy competitive compensation, performance-based incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package.
