The position:
We are looking for a dedicated On-Site Assistant to join our team in Corby.

Working Hours: Monday-Friday // 06:00-15:00 or 07:00-16:00 (some weekend cover may be required to cover holidays)
Salary: £12.21 p/h
Contract Type: Temporary
Location: NN18 9EY

Role of an Account Assistant:

  • Oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Coordinate with different departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of production targets.
  • Monitor compliance with food safety standards, including the Food Safety Act 1990.
  • Manage and supervise production staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Conduct regular inspections of production areas to ensure adherence to quality control standards.
  • Facilitate communication between production teams, management, and external parties.
  • Address and resolve any issues related to equipment, staffing, or production processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of production data, inventory levels, and compliance documentation.
  • Collaborate with different departments for recruitment, onboarding, and addressing employee concerns.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and product quality.

As an Account Assistant, you will need to have:

  • Experience in a supervisory or coordination role within a food manufacturing/warehouse environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, quality assurance protocols and Right to Work legislation knowledge in the UK.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficient in industry-specific software and Microsoft Office Suite.
