Role of an Account Assistant:
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Coordinate with different departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of production targets.
- Monitor compliance with food safety standards, including the Food Safety Act 1990.
- Manage and supervise production staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation.
- Conduct regular inspections of production areas to ensure adherence to quality control standards.
- Facilitate communication between production teams, management, and external parties.
- Address and resolve any issues related to equipment, staffing, or production processes.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, inventory levels, and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with different departments for recruitment, onboarding, and addressing employee concerns.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
As an Account Assistant, you will need to have:
- Experience in a supervisory or coordination role within a food manufacturing/warehouse environment.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, quality assurance protocols and Right to Work legislation knowledge in the UK.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficient in industry-specific software and Microsoft Office Suite.
