The UI/UX Product Designer creates excellent end-user interactions and designs the overall experience for users navigating our data-dense web-based applications and mobile applications. The UI/UX Product Designer seeks to improve the user experience by suggesting interactions that are simple, useful, scalable, accessible, and visually compelling. They collaborate with teams and individuals across a wide variety of departments as needed: Software Development, Product, Operations, Sales, Marketing, and external clients.
Responsibilities:
Creates annotated screen schematics (wireframes) and user interface specification documentation.
Creates and executes usability testing plans.
Works effectively with various stakeholders, including target users, to bring together an optimal product design.
Takes initiative in gathering requirements and translating them into design solutions.
Interviews target users to define personas and document user journeys.
Facilitates workshops with product managers, content team members, target users, and technology teams to define problems and optimal user interface solutions.
Oversees the user interface and overall customer-experience design for our key web and mobile applications.
Maintains and evolves design systems and guidelines.
Manages and prioritizes multiple project timelines in a fast-paced environment.
Adopts a data-driven approach to present design solutions.
Supports and mentors less-experienced UI/UX designers.
Any other reasonable activity required by management.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in a UI/UX role.
Bachelor's/master's degree in user experience design, human factors engineering, visual design, design technology, or related field.
Experience in the financial services sector is highly desirable.
Experience designing applications for risk analysis is highly desirable.
Experience using AI tools to support the design process is highly desirable.
Mastery of design software like Figma or Balsamiq.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, etc.).
Enthusiasm for design work in a software-as-a-service company.
Driven by client satisfaction and strong teamwork skills.
Ability to manage own time and deliver expected results on time.

Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Salary Range
$137,770.00 - $178,250.00This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health/vision/dental insurance, 401(k), PTO, parental leave, and medical leave, STD/LTD insurance benefits.
