This role will be based in one of our U.S. offices, on a hybrid basis. Regular in-office presence is required for day-to-day operations, as well as for team meetings, training opportunities, and relationship building. This role reports to the Director, AI Solutions Development .
Position Summary
We are seeking a UI/UX Front End Developer to design and build best-in-class, user-centered web applications, with a primary focus on AI-driven conversational experiences. This role blends product design leadership with advanced front end engineering, requiring a professional who approaches development with a strong design mindset and crafts intuitive, scalable user interfaces.
The position will lead the end-to-end user experience and frontend architecture for AI chat applications and related digital products, ensuring a seamless, accessible, and consumer-grade experience comparable to leading AI platforms. The role partners closely with product stakeholders, backend engineers, and end users to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions deployed across secure on-premise and cloud environments.
This role requires strong ownership, an exceptional design eye, and the ability to translate complex technical workflows into simple, elegant user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
UI/UX Design & Product Experience
Owns the end-to-end user experience across AI chat applications and front end platforms.
Designs intuitive, visually polished, and accessible interfaces aligned with consumer-grade standards.
Creates wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools such as Figma.
Establishes and evolves design systems, component libraries, and visual standards to ensure consistency across products.
Applies principles of information architecture, interaction design, and content design to improve usability.
Conducts user research, usability testing, and feedback analysis to drive continuous improvements.
Designs and implements micro-interactions, animations, and transitions to enhance user engagement.
Translates complex AI and technical workflows into clear, user-friendly experiences.
Advocates for accessibility (WCAG compliance) and inclusive design practices.
Frontend Engineering
Designs, builds, and maintains React-based front end applications using TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
Translates designs artifacts into pixel-perfect, performant, and responsive code.
Develops scalable front end architecture, coding standards, and reusable components.
Integrates with REST APIs and collaborate with backend engineering teams.
Implements automated testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end) using tools such as Jest, Playwright, or Cypress.
Contributes to CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and modern deployment practices.
Supports application deployment across cloud and on-premise environments.
Evaluates and adopts appropriate front end frameworks when needed.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborates with stakeholders to translate business requirements into user stories and design solutions.
Partners with distributed teams across the U.S. and EU using Microsoft 365, Teams, and Azure DevOps.
Supports ad-hoc UI/UX and front end initiatives based on business priorities.
Presents and communicates design decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Education & Prior Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 5+ years of experience in frontend development with significant UI/UX responsibility
Experience building, maintaining, or contributing to scalable design systems and component libraries.
Proven experience designing and building production-grade, user-focused web applications
Demonstrated experience delivering React/TypeScript applications from concept to deployment
Proven experience designing consumer-grade and high-quality enterprise user experiences.
Experience translating stakeholder requirements into user stories, wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready solutions.
Experience designing AI-powered, conversational, or agent-based user experiences, including chat and copilot interfaces.
Background in Product Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
Experience working in professional services, legal, or highly regulated environments is highly preferred.
Familiarity with modern front end frameworks, including Vue, Angular, or Svelte, is preferred.
Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP and supporting modern deployment methodologies is preferred.
Knowledge of DevOps practices, Docker, Progressive Web Applications (PWAs), and related technologies is preferred.
Technology
Proficiency with React, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
Experience with modern UI/UX design tools, including Figma preferred, Sketch, and Adobe XD.
Experience with frontend frameworks, build tools, and component-based architectures, including Next.js, Vite, and Webpack.
Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, Vitest, Playwright, and Cypress.
Experience integrating front end applications with REST APIs and OpenAPI/Swagger services.
Familiarity with Git-based version control, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipeline tools.
