Job Title: UI/UX Designer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced UI/UX Designer to join our software development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and a proven track record of creating user centered designs that enhance user experience. You will collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet user needs and business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design ideas.
- Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across products.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback and analytics.
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and incorporate feedback into the design process.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong knowledge of UI/UX design principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
- Ability to create user personas, journey maps, and user flows.
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous UI/UX design work.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in front end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and guidelines.
- Knowledge of user research methodologies and tools.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- 5 7 years of experience in UI/UX design.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
The pay range for this role is $110,000 - $115,000* per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
