We are seeking a detail-oriented Web UI Designer to support the creation and execution of visual and interactive experiences across our corporate websites. This role focuses on producing high-quality interface designs, creating digital graphics, assisting with design system updates, and building interactive prototypes based on defined user flows.
This is an excellent opportunity for a designer in the early stages of their career who is looking to strengthen their UI skills, gain experience working within an established digital team, and grow in a collaborative, professional environment.

Create visually consistent and functional user interface designs for web pages and digital experiences following established brand and design guidelines.
Produce supporting graphics, icons, and other visual assets for digital initiatives and marketing campaigns.
Develop wireframes and interactive prototypes in Figma based on defined user flows and project requirements.
Assist in maintaining and updating components within the team’s design system to ensure consistency across digital properties.
Apply established UI principles including typography, spacing, hierarchy, and responsive design.
Collaborate with designers, developers, and marketing partners to refine layouts and interface details prior to development.
Prepare organized design files for developer handoff and implementation.
Ensure designs align with accessibility best practices and internal brand standards.
Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and team members to refine and improve designs.
This position can work from the Overland Park, KS or Jefferson City, MO areas.
Preferred Qualifications
1–3 years of professional, freelance, or internship experience in UI, digital, or visual design
Strong portfolio demonstrating visual design skills, layout execution, and basic interactive prototyping
Proficiency in Figma (experience with Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools is a plus)
Understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles
Basic awareness of accessibility best practices (WCAG knowledge preferred)
Familiarity with HTML/CSS concepts to support collaboration with developers (coding not required)
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established design systems and brand standards
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute within a structured digital team setting
