Faria is seeking an experienced Product Designer (UX/UI) who is passionate about impactful digital experiences, thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, and is ready to help transform the EdTech industry.
In this role, you’ll work closely with our Design Lead and front-end team, partnering with stakeholders in cross-functional teams to build and maintain design systems for our products.
You’ll be running an audit of missing or non-reproduced assets and working on developing these components and ensuring these are aligned with developed components, Storybook elements, and templates.
You’ll design components for web applications across all supported resolutions and help adapt them for mobile apps. This role suits designers eager to contribute expertise, embrace new challenges, and grow alongside a curious, agile, forward-thinking team.
Who Are You
- You're a user-focused designer who creates intuitive, elegant solutions to real-world problems. You have a strong sense of visual design and systems thinking, and a passion for building scalable design systems.
- You’re an effective communicator who works confidently across teams, translating design ideas into actionable solutions.
- You have at least 5 years of experience designing, delivering, and iterating digital products, ideally in a tech/SaaS solution environment.
- You're eager to grow your impact, contribute to a team that values design quality, and help shape meaningful digital experiences in education.
- Prior experience in EdTech is a big plus, but not mandatory.
What You’ll Do:
- Audit, refine, and evolve the design system across web and mobile platforms.
- Create scalable and reusable UI components.
- Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure high-quality implementation.
- Define user flows, build prototypes, and lead usability testing.
- Apply accessibility standards (WCAG) and contribute to inclusive design.
- Use research methods like User Interviews and Experience Mapping to inform decisions.
- Support and advocate for a strong design culture across the organization.
- 5+ years of UX/UI design experience with a portfolio demonstrating system-level thinking and end-to-end product work.
- Proficiency in Figma (including component libraries) and FigJam.
- Strong experience building and maintaining design systems in collaboration with engineering.
- Familiarity with Material Design and Apple HIG, with the ability to adopt or modify conventions when appropriate.
- Deep understanding of accessibility principles and W3C’s accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Experience working in Agile teams with common development workflows and tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Clear communicator who can articulate design decisions and simplify complexity.
- Passion for usability and thoughtful product design.
- Experience in making mockups with HTML/CSS/Bootstrap
- Experience with Storybook
- Experience in building design systems both from scratch and retrospectively

- EdTech SaaS product experience
