We are looking for an experienced UI/UX (Product) Designer
to help us build and improve mobile-first marketplace experiences. You will
design user-centered experiences across our web and mobile products, working
closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver
solutions that meet both user needs and business goals.
Bonus (Marketplace Focus):
Experience designing marketplace products (two-sided
platforms) is a big plus. You should be comfortable improving complex funnels
across both sides of the marketplace — including guest booking flows (Search →
Listing → Detail → Booking/Checkout) and supply-side tools (owner apps,
availability/pricing management, messaging, and owner ops workflows). You’ll
optimize for conversion, trust, retention, and operational efficiency —
especially on mobile.
What you'll be doing:
- Design and deliver high-quality user-centered experiences
for our digital products.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design
decisions and validate design solutions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
using design tools such as Figma.
- Work closely with developers to ensure designs are
implemented to a high standard.
- Contribute to the development of design systems, style
guides, and other design documentation.
- Improve key marketplace flows (Search → Listing → Detail →
Booking/Checkout) to increase conversion and reduce drop-offs.
- Design mobile-first search, filtering, and sorting
experiences for high-traffic pages.
- Work with product and engineering to ship fast, iterate
often, and validate improvements with data and user feedback.
- Translate complex business rules (availability, pricing,
add-ons, policies) into simple and clear user experiences.
- Own design QA after implementation: review shipped UI, catch
issues, and iterate with engineering until it meets quality standards.
- Design complete state coverage: empty / loading / error /
edge-case states for key flows.
- Improve information architecture and clarity for complex
screens (filters, pricing breakdown, availability rules).
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in UI/UX or Product Design with
proven shipped work on web and mobile products.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design (or equivalent practical
experience) is preferred.
- Strong mobile-first UX skills and responsive design
expertise (web + mobile).
- Strong interaction + visual design craft (layout,
typography, hierarchy, composition).
- Excellent Figma skills (Auto Layout, components, variants,
prototyping).
- Ability to work end-to-end: discovery → wireframes →
high-fidelity UI → developer handoff → iteration.
- Experience with user research and usability testing; able to
turn insights into product improvements.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with
product and engineering teams.
- Familiarity with collaboration and project tools (Jira,
Miro, etc.).
- Experience working with or contributing to design systems
and documentation (e.g., Zeroheight, Abstract).
- Professional proficiency in English (additional languages
are a plus).
- Organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a
fast-paced environment.
- Strong product mindset: commercially aware,
customer-focused, able to see the big picture.
- Strong writing skills: able to explain decisions clearly and
simply.
- Strong information architecture skills; able to simplify
complex product rules into clear UX.
- Experience owning design quality through implementation
(post-release QA + iteration loop).
- Working knowledge of accessibility best practices (basic
WCAG / inclusive design).
- Comfortable using metrics to iterate (funnels, drop-offs,
conversion improvements).
- Strong UX writing / microcopy skills (especially for
checkout, errors, and trust messaging).
Nice to have
- Experience with usability tools (UserTesting, Optimal
Workshop, Validately).
- Marketplace / booking / travel product experience.
- Experience with multi-language UI (layout resilience, long
strings, localization issues)
- Familiarity with analytics mindset (funnels, drop-offs,
iteration)
- Comfortable using AI-assisted design tools (e.g., Figma AI)
to speed up exploration and iteration.
- Familiarity with developer handoff tools/workflows (Figma
Inspect, design tokens, component specs).
