SWATX is seeking a talented UI/UX Design Lead to guide our design team and help shape the user experience of our digital products. This role combines creative design skills with team coordination to create intuitive and engaging user experiences that meet both user needs and business goals.
Responsibilities Team Coordination● Guide a small team of UI/UX designers, providing feedback and direction
● Help implement UX vision and strategy that aligns with company objectives
● Work with product, engineering, and marketing teams to maintain consistent user experience
● Support user-centered design approaches throughout projects
● Help maintain design processes and standards
Design & Execution● Create and oversee user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs
● Contribute to design systems and component libraries
● Participate in user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
● Transform business requirements into user-friendly experiences
● Consider user needs alongside business objectives
Growth & Development● Keep up with current UI/UX trends and tools
● Suggest improvements to existing products and experiences
● Provide design input during product planning
● Help collect user feedback and implement improvements
● Share knowledge with more junior team members
Qualifications Required● 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design with 1-2 years in a team lead role
● Portfolio demonstrating strong UI/UX work
● Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.)
● Good understanding of user-centered design principles
● Clear communication skills for presenting design concepts
● Experience working with product and development teams
Preferred● Knowledge of our industry/domain
● Basic understanding of front-end development concepts
● Experience with usability testing methods
● Familiarity with the fintech arena
