Position Summary
Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is now accepting applications for its Summer 2026 Intern Program. This exciting opportunity offers a paid, 10-week experience for selected UNDERGRAD OR GRAD (based on HM request) students. The program will run from June 1 to August 7.Eligible students will be seniors or recent graduates, possess U.S. work authorization, and be able to work full-time on a 5-day-per-week on-site schedule. Additionally, participation in this program requires that you be located in the United States for the duration of the engagement.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, so early submission is encouraged. The application window is open until March 15, 2026; however, it may close earlier if all available roles are filled. Applications submitted after the application window or once a role is closed/projects are full will not be considered.

Role and Responsibilities
Position Summary
This internship focuses on enhancing the online customer experience for Samsung's new launch TV, Audio, and Monitor products. The intern will play a key role in defining the best possible customer experience by setting Global & Local Best Practices, with a focus on the upcoming "Vision AI" innovations in Q2 '26. The intern will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop compelling online content, simplify product portfolios, and adapt best practices for global and local markets.
Key Responsibilities
Product Feature Communication:
- Develop compelling online content to effectively sell new product features (e.g., AI sound controller mode, AI motion enhancer) and highlight their value proposition.
- Create engaging marketing materials that simplify complex product features for customers.
Portfolio Simplification:
- Analyze the current TV portfolio and design a simplified framework to help customers understand different TV types, price points, and features.
- Develop customer-friendly guides, comparison tools, or interactive content to enhance decision-making.
Global & Local Best Practices:
- Research and identify best practices for online customer experience in the Home Entertainment (HE) business.
- Propose strategies to adapt these practices to both global and local markets.
Qualifications
Education:
- Currently pursuing a Master's Degree.
- Preferred academic fields of study: Design, Customer Experience (CX), or related fields.
- Final-year graduate students are strongly preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Customer Experience (CX) Design: Strong understanding of customer journey mapping, UX principles, and customer-centric solution design.
- Content Creation and Communication: Proficiency in creating engaging online content and simplifying complex product features for customers.
- Market Research and Best Practices: Ability to conduct market research and identify global/local best practices for online customer experience.
- Design Thinking and Collaboration: Familiarity with design thinking methodologies and experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of digital tools, web design principles, and basic UI design.
Skills:
- CX Design & Content Creation: Expertise in customer journey mapping, UX principles, and creating engaging, customer-friendly content.
- Market Research & Best Practices: Strong skills in identifying global/local best practices and analyzing market trends for online customer experience.
- Design Thinking & Collaboration: Proficiency in design thinking methodologies and experience working with cross-functional teams.
Additional Information
This internship is based in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, and offers a unique opportunity to contribute to Samsung's product categories while gaining valuable experience in UI/UX design, customer experience, and strategic planning. The intern will have the chance to work on impactful projects, collaborate with experienced professionals, and develop skills that are highly relevant in the field of design and customer experience.
The intern will also have the opportunity to explore the integration of "Vision AI" innovations into the customer experience, providing a forward-looking perspective on how technology can enhance user interactions with Samsung's products. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about creating seamless, user-friendly experiences and driving innovation in digital design.
Skills and Qualifications
The hourly rate for this role is $49. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
