Your key responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and developers to translate requirements into high-quality UI solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior UI engineers, providing technical leadership and support.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Implement and maintain reusable code and libraries for future use.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in UI development.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
Your skills and experience
- 13+ years of experience in UI development with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, Unit Testing, and modern frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Experience with UI/UX design tools such as Figma, or Adobe XD.
- Knowledge of back-end technologies and integration with front-end systems.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices.
- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX).
- Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices.
