We are seeking a UI Developer to support the CDC program. This is a remote role for a mid-level professional with strong front-end SAP experience and hands-on development skills across modern UI frameworks and tools.
Position SummaryThe UI Developer will design, build, and enhance user-facing applications supporting the CDC VTrckS environment. This role is focused on delivering scalable, maintainable SAP-based UI solutions and collaborating with technical teams to support development, integration, and ongoing improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and maintain user interfaces using SAP Fiori and SAP UI5
- Build and enhance responsive, user-friendly applications aligned to business and technical requirements
- Use VSCode for development, build, and troubleshooting activities
- Support code development and productivity workflows using GitHub Copilot
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, functional leads, and stakeholders
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing, and deployment support
- Document technical designs, development standards, and implementation details
- Contribute to continuous improvement of UI architecture, development practices, and user experience
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in SAP Fiori and SAP UI5 development
- Strong hands-on experience with VSCode for development and build activities
- Experience utilizing GitHub Copilot to support development and build workflows
- Strong knowledge of front-end development best practices, debugging, and application support
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with distributed teams
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with OData
- Experience with CDS build/development
- Prior experience supporting federal or public sector environments
- Familiarity with SAP integrations and enterprise application support
