Meet the Team:

Dexcom’s Global Product Design (GPD) is a multi-disciplinary team of product designers focused on user experience and user interface design, illustrators, front-end software developers, instructional content designers and industrial designers who support the Dexcom product portfolio. Our newly formed GPD Studio in Vilnius is seeking a User Interface (UI) Designer to support insulin partner projects.

At Dexcom, you will use design to help improve the lives of our users by creating compelling experiences working with partner products and our Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) technology. We are passionate about quality, usability, and simplicity. You will collaborate closely with our user experience designers and the UI team to bring ideas to life.

GPD is honoured to be the recipient of 23 international design awards for our G7 product including the iF Design Award, three Red Dot awards, and a gold IDEA award totalling over 23 awards. Now you can help us revolutionize the glycemic wellness space as we expand to Vilnius.

Where You Come In:

  • You will collaborate with UX designers, developers, stakeholders, and partners to design user interface for insulin partner products and other initiatives in the Dexcom portfolio.

  • You will closely collaborate with the user interface design team in San Diego and meet on a regular basis to elevate and execute our UI design strategy.

  • You will drive innovation, consistency, clarity and ease of use for Dexcom end users.

  • You will utilize and contribute to Dexcom’s Design System.

  • You will present design proposals with confidence. Seek to inform and influence the audience.

  • You will learn from existing members of the team and mentor your colleagues.

  • You will be a design diplomat. Socialize ideas with stakeholders and design partners to gain alignment. Be willing to compromise to find a mutually agreeable solution.

  • You will be a positive influence on our culture. Build up our teams, departments, and company through words and actions. Be welcoming of feedback and respectful of disagreement.

  • You will ensure that designs are implemented as intended across iOS, Android, Web apps, and other devices through collaboration with development engineers.

  • You will own the results. Be accountable for the project and design decisions.

What Makes You Successful:

  • You have industry work experience in a design and/or UI-related role.

  • You have experience driving visual design for mobile apps using Material Design or iOS HIG.

  • You have worked in Figma or Sketch/Abstract.

  • You have worked on visual support of product design. Experience with WCAG accessibility guidelines is a plus.

  • You thrive in a highly collaborative, fluid, fast-paced environment.

  • You have a proven ability to manage schedules, prioritise tasks, and work within deadlines.

  • You bring a proactive, accountable approach. You are able to show ownership and lead your projects.

  • You don’t mind adjusting your work hours to facilitate effective collaboration with team members in different time zones, including regular participation in meetings during US East and West Coast business hours.

  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS or other programming languages to effectively communicate with developers is a plus.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2-5 years of related experience.

Monthly base salary for this position is from €3,421.25 to €4,025.00 gross. Final offer will depend on your qualifications, competencies, and professional experience.
