Job Summary:

All candidates will be required to take and pass a mechanical aptitude test prior to interview. A minimum score must be met in order to be considered for employment.
All candidates must pass a drug screen, physical, lift test and background screening.
A mechanical aptitude test must be taken and passed in order to move forward in process
Passing score determines pay rate
$21.63 - $29.75/hour
Schedule: Thursday - Saturday 7AM-7PM, Rotating Sunday.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Clean, set-up, operate and monitor equipment of the production line
- Perform cleanings during set down times and product changeovers
- Load/unload stacks and moves items as assigned
- Sort, bundle and fill containers or place in assembled units
- Mark or place identifying labels on product loads, ensuring that all finished product is coded properly
- Record movement of stock in and out of work areas
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties
- Monitor materials, products and equipment at each step of the process and reports irregularities to supervisor
- Maintain communication with other departments, management and employees and notify them of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict efficiency
- Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible and accurate format
- Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices
- Follow all required work safe practices. This would include wearing of all required PPE in designated areas, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, fall restraints, etc
- Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
- Other duties assigned or required
