GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Urgent Crisis Center Project Coordinator is responsible for providing behavioral health clinical and administrative leadership to Wellmore's Urgent Crisis Center. The Project Coordinator is the day-to-day leader of the Center, working with medical and clinical staff ensuring that fidelity to program scope/model, access to services, and community partnerships exist.  He/she administratively supervises a variety of medical, clinical staff, and interns and primarily oversees the implementation of all components of the program, uses established quality assurance practices to monitor fidelity and outcomes, and seeks family/consumer involvement to continuously improve care provided by UCC staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have the ability to maintain the utmost confidentiality of both agency and client matters. Must understand and be able to display the clinical knowledge and expertise necessary to perform crisis intervention. Must be able to display knowledge and expertise as it relates to the populations served by Wellmore, including bilingual and bicultural needs. Must be capable of working as a part of a team and be able to effectively communicate with both families and professionals (in writing and verbally). Must have comfort with navigating and documenting within an electronic health record and use communication platforms, such as Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Outlook. The Project Coordinator is assigned to carry a smartphone at all times and provides supervisory back-up for program staff. Requires a flexible work schedule with a mix of day and evening hours.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
A master’s degree in a mental health discipline (social work, family therapy, counseling) with an active CT License (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) or CT Licensed APRN or CT Licensed Psychologist.

At least five years’ post graduate clinical experience working with children, adolescents or families is required.  Experience providing crisis intervention services is required.  Experience providing clinical supervision for masters’ and bachelors’ level staff and program oversight essential. Knowledge and integration of theories related to trauma, family therapy/systems, child/adolescent therapeutic approaches, domestic violence and early childhood all relevant to program management. 

Experience using computer systems for data manipulation/analysis (Excel, PowerBI,etc...) is helpful. 

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION:

Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and valid auto insurance is required; must be CPR and First Aid Certified.
