We are looking for a UAV Technical Demo Specialist to join our team and support our demo operations at customer sites. As a UAV Field Tech, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of ground control systems (GCS) and UAV systems during demo or flight testing. Your role will involve hands-on technical support, ensuring flight test infrastructure is prepared and maintained for seamless operations.
Assist the commercial/ demo team by providing technical support for UAV operations during technical demo with the customers.
Set up and configure UAV systems, including Ground Control Stations (GCS), to ensure readiness for demo execution.
Take ownership of the flight demo infrastructure, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and operational.
Support the setup and maintenance of demo operations in the field, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise.
Collaborate with engineers and flight test personnel to ensure safe and successful flight testing.
Ensure adherence to operational protocols and safety standards during flight operations.
Prior experience with UAV systems and flight testing is essential.
A background in military operations or a similar high-pressure, technical environment will be highly beneficial.
Experience with model RC aircraft flying or UAV systems is highly preferred.
Ability to work in dynamic environments and handle technical challenges on-site.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
