In this role you'll take full technical responsibility for one of our platforms and guide it to its next level. You'll provide technical direction to your team and advise on where to take it — whether that's mechanical design, electrical engineering, integration, flight testing, or anything else, really. You'll do all of it while growing together with the company, and knowing your work matters: contributing to our security right here, in Europe. To be successful in this role, you'll have spent substantial time in the drone industry already. You've taken UAV systems — fixed-wing, VTOL, hybrid — from concept to a compliant, flight-ready platform, through the full UAV development cycle: design to flight and everything in between. And you want to do it again.
You specialize in one of the areas that will report to you, and you're happy to contribute hands-on to it daily. In the others you're not an expert, but your knowledge runs deep enough to weigh the trade-offs when a decision has to be made. Because that's what this job is: deciding how we keep improving our platforms.

Requirements
You have experienced the entire UAV development lifecycle. Ideally, you feel most confident when it comes to flight testing and systems engineering. You have shipped products before. You know what it takes to make things happen and you want to make them happen.
Skills Required
- Substantial experience in the UAV or drone industry
- Experience across the entire UAV development lifecycle, from concept and design through flight testing and deployment
- Experience developing fixed-wing, VTOL, or hybrid UAV systems
- Experience taking UAV systems to compliant, flight-ready platforms
- Previous experience shipping products
- Strong knowledge of systems engineering and flight testing
- Specialization in at least one technical area, such as mechanical design, electrical engineering, systems engineering, integration, or flight testing
