U.S. Soccer is in a period of significant growth, with ambitions plans for U.S. Soccer in the near and far future. We are, therefore, looking for dynamic servant leaders to join us on this journey: in service to soccer. Applicants must be able to demonstrate visionary leadership, analytical decision-making, professional flexibility, and an empathic management style that builds bold teams and delivers globally significant results.

  

We are thrilled to launch our third annual Summer Internship Program, specifically for college students who live in the metro Atlanta, Georgia area either during the school year or over the summer.
Position Description

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic interns to join our team for a 12-week internship program. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in your chosen department, work on meaningful projects, and develop valuable professional skills. You will collaborate with experienced professionals, attend training sessions, and participate in networking events designed to enhance your career development.

General Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum GPA: 3.0
  • Enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate program with anticipated graduation year of 2028 or 2029
  • Able to participate in this 12-week internship during the summer
  • Able to dedicate 40 hours per week to this internship
  • Able to work in-person at U.S. Soccer’s Fayetteville, GA office at least 3 days per week
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical / problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Recommended: Participation and interest in soccer/athletics; campus involvement and leadership
  • Deep ties to the Atlanta area – either currently living in metro Atlanta or from the area with a desire to build a career here post-graduation

  • Financial support: Salary: $20/hour, Transportation costs will be covered by U.S. Soccer for the duration of the internship (either mileage reimbursement or Uber/Lyft pass)
