About the RoleWe’re looking for a highly driven, hands-on U.S. Recruiter to join our team on a full-time 6-month contractual basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, knows how to build strong candidate pipelines quickly, and is not afraid to be creative and persistent when sourcing for hard-to-fill roles.
You’ll own recruitment activities end-to-end, with a strong focus on proactive sourcing, pipeline building, candidate engagement, and efficient hiring execution.
Key Responsibilities- Own full-lifecycle recruitment for U.S.-based startup roles from initial sourcing to offer acceptance.
- Proactively identify, engage, and build talent pipelines for high-priority GTM (Go-To-Market) and delivery roles with specialized skill sets.
- Source candidates using LinkedIn, Greenhouse, Upwork, Indeed, referrals, and alternative recruitment channels.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to calibrate profiles and align on requirements.
- Conduct recruiter screens to evaluate candidate experience, skills, and organizational fit.
- Maintain accurate hiring data and pipeline progress in the ATS (Greenhouse).
- Ensure a seamless, professional experience for candidates throughout the hiring process.
- 7+ years of professional recruiting experience, with significant experience recruiting for U.S.-based roles.
- Strong hands-on experience across the full recruitment lifecycle, particularly sourcing and pipeline management.
- Proven track record of proactively sourcing high-calibre talent, with a focus on specialized skill sets and high-priority roles.
- Strong experience working in fast-paced startup or high-growth environments where priorities can change quickly.
- Hands-on experience with Greenhouse, Upwork, Indeed, and LinkedIn.
- Experience leveraging AI tools for candidate sourcing, talent identification, research, outreach, and/or recruiting workflow efficiency.
- Strong understanding of sourcing strategies, candidate identification, outreach, screening, and pipeline conversion.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of recruiting priorities with minimal supervision.
- U.S.-based and able to work effectively during U.S. business hours / overlapping U.S. time zones.
- Someone who actively hunts for talent rather than relying solely on inbound applications.
- Comfortable taking on new profiles, quickly identifying candidate pools, and experimenting with creative sourcing channels.
- Persistent, organized, and skilled at managing multiple open roles and competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through on candidate pipelines and hiring metrics.
- Available to commit full-time for the full 6-month contract and able to join immediately or at very short notice.
