Responsibilities include
- Ability to understand the functionality of the application under test
- Identify and define the test specifications based on the requirements
- Needs to have good understanding of testing and defect triage processes
- Prior work experience in Agile scrum or SAFe is an advantage
- Testing Tools: Xray, ReadyAPI, Microfocus ALM, JIRA, trackSpace
- Knowledge of backend service testing with ReadyAPI or Postman, API debugging/root cause analysis
- Knowledge of microservice architecture and cloud database
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline (GIT etc)
- Experienced and exposed to Test Execution at different test levels (viz., SAT, SIT, UAT etc)
Responsibilities for the Role:
- Analyze user stories and design/develop Test Models and Test cases
- Experience with execution of automated scripts using in trend automation tools, LCNC frameworks
- Proficient with databases, good knowledge of writing SQL
- Execute automated backend regression test suites in pipeline for iterations and PROD releases
- Present tested feature within iteration reviews and system demos
- Attend and actively participate in PI Plannings
- Participate all sprint planning, pre- and post sprint release ceremonies
- Meet with developers and BAs for quick hand-off demonstrations and share the iteration demos with the devs
- Onshore experience-interacting with customer, UAT experience is added advantage
