The Role

Responsible for proper treatment of utility poles and other products.  Ensures proper treating formulas are utilized on treating products in a manner that meets company, government, and safety regulations.   

  • Calculate and prepare proper treating formulations 
  • Conduct required quality control testing of treated products. 
  • Maintain production records and provide monthly reports 
  • Observe and enforce all safety regulations and requirements required by the company and government agencies 
  • Cleans and maintain equipment, and work areas to ensure proper functioning and safe working conditions 
  • Other work-related duties as required 

Candidate Qualifications/ Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Safety, health, and environmental awareness 
  • Strong organizational and communications skills 
  • Intermediate computer skills required; experience with Microsoft Office Products preferred 
  • Willing to be hands on with physical production  
  • Must be able to work in all outside weather conditions (wet, hot, cold) 
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
