- Supervise Sarasota-based Accounts Receivable clerks and Treasury Associate. Review and post cash payments. Manage business relationship with Chase as it relates to Purveyor payment applications, credit cards, and e-Commerce. Provide recommendations to the Manager - Treasury concerning payment and cash receipt alternatives. Ensure DSO within acceptable parameters.
Cash Management
- Responsible for reviewing the cash sheet on a daily basis. Ensure movement of dollars from investments to fund corporate needs. Responsible for administering the Chase online banking site. Manage the internal wire transfer workflow. Interface with bank personnel to ensure all appropriate bank services and offerings relevant to our needs are included within our cash management program. Provide recommendations to the Sr. Manager - Treasury for new offerings suggested by the bank. Actively participate in the implementation and execution of new programs and services. Backup administrator for our banking system.
- Daily cash management via forecasting and planning.
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of the company insurance and the enterprise risk management plan.
- Maintain Certificate of Insurance for Local Purveyors
- Attend claims reviews to keep a pulse on how effectively the program is being managed.
- Attend property/engineering reviews to better understand the state of our facilities from an insurability point of view.
- Provide leadership, support, and actively participate in any other activities or projects related to the Finance department or the company as a whole where expertise in the above areas is requested or required.
Education and Experience
- BS Accounting, Finance, or other related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years prior work experience in an accounting office of a manufacturing firm or a distribution environment.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of accounting controls, processes, procedures, and management practices related to a department function with multiple locations.
- Cash management and/or Treasury experience preferred.
- High proficiency in all MS Office, specifically Excel, and worked with some exposure to electronic communications applications.
- Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Motivated, detail-oriented self-starter willing to learn and a good team player.
- Ability to handle deadlines and multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic, high-volume environment.
- Must be able to demonstrate poise under pressure.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to effectively present information and communicate with all levels of management.
Mathematical Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the ability to apply concepts such as fractions and percentages to practical situations as well as be able to read and interpret graphical data.
Reasoning Ability
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the ability to define problems, establish facts and draw valid conclusions and deal with problems involving several concrete or non-concrete variables.

Work Environment
This position requires working in an office environment, 90% of the time. The remaining 10% of the time may require travel to other facilities.
