KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Treasury Sales (FX & Money Market)
· Develop and manage a pipeline of retail,corporate and institutional clients for FX and money market products, maintaining structured coverage plans and deal origination targets.
· Originate, price and execute FX spot, forwards and swaps for client hedging and trade-related needs, ensuring competitiveness while protecting margins and adhering to delegated limits.
· Market and execute money market solutions (placements, short-term deposits/investments, and approved borrowing structures) aligned to client liquidity needs, tenor preferences, and the Bank’s balance sheet strategy.
· Provide timely FX and money market insights (rates, curves, key drivers) and propose appropriate hedging/tenor strategies; prepare client quotes and deal terms in line with approved frameworks.
· Ensure accurate deal capture, confirmations, and settlement follow-through for all FX and money market transactions, with complete documentation (KYC/product onboarding where required) and a clear audit trail.
Risk, Controls & Balance Sheet Awareness
· Work closely with Treasury/Trading and Market Risk to understand market risk, liquidity, and balance sheet constraints that impact client pricing and deal execution.
· Monitor and manage utilisation of delegated dealing and sales limits, escalating exceptions and obtaining pre-trade approvals where required.
· Comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements (KYC/AML, suitability, conduct risk), ensuring accurate disclosures and client confirmations.
· Prepare and maintain sales MI including deal pipeline, volumes, spreads, income performance, and client activity for management reporting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Partner with Relationship Managers to identify client needs, set pricing strategies, and cross-sell appropriate treasury solutions.
· Coordinate with Operations, Finance, Credit, and Market Risk to support seamless trade processing, settlements, limit setup, and issue resolution.
Performance Indicators
Treasury income generated (FX/MM volumes, spreads/margins) versus budget.
Client coverage effectiveness (pipeline quality, conversion rate, retention, and wallet share growth).
Accuracy of deal capture/booking and timeliness of post-trade confirmations and issue resolution.
Compliance and control adherence (policy breaches, limit exceptions, KYC/AML and conduct risk observance).
Key Competencies
Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field
Experience in treasury sales, corporate banking, markets, or a related client-facing role is an advantage
Professional certification (e.g., ACI Dealing Certificate, CFA, FRM) is an added advantage
