Job DescriptionWe’re seeking a Treasury Operations Specialist to join our Treasury Team in Singapore. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to Wise's mission within the Finance and Treasury Tribe, impacting millions of people by optimizing operational processes on a global scale.
Wise has been at the forefront of revolutionizing international money transfers and currency management. Treasury is responsible for efficiently moving the right amount in the right currency at the right time to serve our customers, all while minimizing costs.
To excel in this role, you should be passionate about process automation, dedicated to enhancing efficiency and ready to tackle challenges head-on. As an ideal candidate, you’ll have a sharp mind for synthesizing crucial information to make informed decisions in time-critical situations. Additionally, you'll demonstrate a holistic perspective to shape future plans for the team.
You'll play a crucial role by:
Managing cash movements, planning and executing liquidity trades to ensure timely delivery of customers' funds
Innovating and improving global money movement processes to achieve closer to instant and free transfers
Working closely with Treasury Markets to support planning and executing FX trades to manage group-wide FX risks
Supporting Product teams with Treasury solutions on new or existing currencies & product launches such as new currencies, ensuring efficient risk management
Be a point of contact and help manage relationships with international banks and counterparties across the APAC region
Driving product and process improvements — taking ownership of team and company processes, fostering relationships as a key point of contact with internal stakeholders such as payment operation specialists, engineers, analysts, data scientists, and product managers

Excellent verbal and written English skills;
1 - 3 years of relevant experience in treasury operations or specialist role in a related field;
An accurate, organized individual with an eye for detail, ensuring reliable execution of daily treasury tasks, maintaining operational integrity, and guaranteeing that all process changes are documented with precision;
Have a strong process-oriented and efficiency-driven mindset;
A systems thinker who exercises strategic judgment with ease, demonstrating an innate ability to connect the dots in new situations and think creatively for solutions;
Comfortable making independent decisions in time-sensitive situations, while being able to multitask efficiently;
Proven track record of proactiveness and taking individual ownership of assigned responsibilities and projects through their full lifecycle, whilst ensuring the timely completion of all operational responsibilities;
Flexible with work hours to accommodate shifts and ensure smooth operations in the APAC region, occasionally working holidays;
Exhibit clear and honest communication skills, adaptability to different audiences, and comfort in resolving issues with global external partners and internal stakeholders;
A great-team player who is feedback-oriented, values openness and thrives in a collaborative team environment;
Self motivated, showing an appetite for learning and continuous self-improvement, mastering new systems and constantly identifying and filling knowledge gaps.
Some extra skills that would be awesome:
Academic experience in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field;
Experience using data visualisation tools like looker, superset etc.
