As a Treasury Operations Analyst in the Futures and Options Treasury Operations team (Margin and Collateral), you will support daily funding, settlement, reconciliation, and issue-resolution activities to help ensure timely and accurate client and market obligations. You will work with global partners across multiple locations and collaborate with internal teams; such as the middle office and client service partners. You will contribute to a controlled operating environment by following procedures, escalating risks, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Job responsibilities
- Support the daily management and optimization of client cash and non-cash collateral movements
- Ensure timely settlement of obligations with exchanges/central counterparties and clients
- Manage the funding and monitoring of exchange accounts to help prevent shortfalls
- Process foreign exchange transactions supporting client and operational needs
- Perform reconciliations, investigate breaks, and drive timely resolution of discrepancies
- Investigate counterparty and settlement issues and coordinate follow-ups to closure
- Escalate significant issues, risks, and control concerns to management in a timely manner
- Respond promptly to internal inquiries from middle office and client service partners
- Support controlled operations by adhering to documented procedures and evidencing key actions
- Contribute to reporting, operational investigations, and root cause analysis as needed
- Identify and suggest process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and control
