Job DescriptionThis is a Treasury Manager role based in London, part of the Global FX Markets team reporting to the Global FX Lead.
About you:
- Ideally, 6-8+ years FX trading experience across a variety of markets with a focus on Emerging Market or APAC currencies. Additional broader Treasury experience is also valued. The role offers managerial responsibilities in charge of a growing global risk management team
What you will do:
Using your risk management and execution experience, you will help us manage group wide FX risks and/or manage liquidity trades to ensure we have money where our customers need it
As part of a Global Team, manage the day-to-day FX Trading hedging activities & strategies during the London timezone. This will include managing our hedging strategies for a global book of FX exposures across FX products Spot, Forwards & NDFs from the London timezone
Working closely with Treasury Data Analysts & Scientists to assess risk over upcoming market events, product launches and regular assessment of existing and new trading strategies. Possibility to work on automating risk management and funding strategies once proven
Working closely with Treasury Liquidity Operations & Banking teams to optimise funding and reduce Treasury costs (TCA) with our partners on a global basis.
Bridge opportunities between FX Markets and our Cash and Asset Management team to who manage customers funds/balances and invest excess funds in short term instruments to optimise yield
Be a point of contact and help manage relationships with our panel of international banks and counterparties across the EMEA region. Ensuring we are constantly negotiating on price, and optimising for both price and broader relationship whenever we trade.
Supporting Global Wise Platform and Product teams with Treasury solutions on new or existing currencies & product launches such as new currencies ensuring Treasury can manage the associated risks efficiently
Take part in initiatives aimed at making upgrades to our dealing strategy, policies, controls and systems with the risk teams within 1st and 2nd lines to help build more robust control frameworks
Partake in Market Risk Committees to provide insights on market activity and how the Treasury Markets team is managing that risk
Build and deliver analysis and reporting on dealing activities with monthly improvements as the role evolves
Lead a small team based in London, coach and structure development for junior members

Skills Required
