Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Treasury Manager to be based in Singapore and play a key role in the establishment of our APAC Treasury Hub. This hands-on, execution-focused role will support the development of regional treasury capabilities and operating processes while managing day-to-day treasury activities across APAC.
This role will support a range of APAC treasury activities primarily the migration of Treasury activity into the APAC hub with follow-on support for the rollout and day-to-day operational management of the In-House Bank. Role will involve cash positioning, banking operations, bank account administration, reporting, and ad hoc operational support across time zones for EMEA (Dublin) and the US (Milpitas, CA).
Key Responsibilities
Support APAC treasury activities, including daily cash positioning, liquidity monitoring, and short-term cash forecasting across multiple markets and currencies.
Assist with bank account administration, including account opening and closure, signatory updates, e-banking access and annual review and KYC documentation.
Support regional banking operations and help coordinate day-to-day treasury requirements across APAC entities and banking partners.
Support the rollout of the In-House Bank across APAC, including implementation activities (UAT), entity onboarding, process documentation, testing, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Monitor and manage Treasury ServiceNow requests, ensuring timely processing, escalation of aged items, adherence to service levels, and effective communication with business stakeholders.
Support the day-to-day operational management of the In-House Bank, including intercompany funding flows, transaction processing, issue tracking, control activities, and ongoing process improvement.
Assist with intercompany funding, cross-border cash movements, FX activities, and support evolving regulatory and market requirements across APAC jurisdictions.
Support a robust treasury control environment by maintaining payment governance, ensuring policy compliance, coordinating SOX-related activities, responding to internal and external audit requests, and maintaining appropriate supporting documentation.
Partner with banking providers and internal stakeholders to support effective treasury processes and issue resolution.
Assist with treasury projects and process improvements, including systems enhancements, reporting improvements, and operational changes.
Prepare treasury reports, maintain supporting documentation, and help monitor key operational activities across APAC.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years Treasury experience ideally in a multinational environment.
Experience supporting APAC treasury activities or working with regional banking practices and regulatory environments is a must.
Exposure to In-House Bank structures, intercompany funding, treasury centralisation, or related treasury processes would be beneficial.
Experience with SAP S4/HANA, treasury systems, or advanced Excel would be beneficial.
Good understanding of financial controls, compliance, and process discipline.
Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills, with a willingness to learn and the ability to work effectively across countries, cultures, and time zones.
Fluent English & Mandarin essential, Japanese would be highly desirable
