The Finance Team includes Accounting, Finance Business Partnership, Finance Operations, Financial Systems, Internal Audit, Investor Relations, Tax, and Treasury teams. Together, the team partners with leadership to provide insights, information, and guidance to make strategic and operational decisions, inform investors about our business model and progress, and ensure the company is financially healthy and consistently meeting our reporting obligations.
We’re looking for a Kind, Smart and Creative Treasury Manager in India to join the Snap Inc. Treasury team. Our growth in the APAC region has resulted in a significant increase in treasury, compliance and regulatory requirements, which are unique to the region, highly complex, and require both in-country knowledge, appropriate time zone coverage and local presence in dealing with local banks and advisors. As a member of the treasury team, you will support our India and APAC operations by executing these requirements, allowing us to be compliant with local banking requirements and regulations and ensuring that we have the appropriate processes and support in place to allow our business to scale.
What you’ll do:

Standup, oversee and manage Snap’s APAC treasury operations as we continue to scale and enter new markets.

Manage APAC banking relationships, KYC (Know-Your-Customer) documentation, and provide support for India-specific regulatory/compliance banking requirements.

Support all Treasury Operations activities for India, China and APAC markets which include managing liquidity, forecasting, managing bank accounts and bank signatories, reviewing and managing currency exposures, tracking and settling intercompany payments, as well as supporting a number of local / foreign payments and banking related activities within markets that are highly regulated.

Partner with Tax, Legal, and Accounting teams to execute capitalizations, intercompany loans, and other treasury operations projects.

Facilitate and maintain daily activities within the Treasury Management System (Kyriba), including cash reconciliation, forecasting, reporting requirements, dashboards and ensuring our controls and SOX guidelines are being adhered to.

Ensure our officer, directors and signatory requirements are being updated for purposes of SOX compliance and banking related matters.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
-
Treasury operations experience including banking/cash operations and cash management/forecasting
-
Prior work experience in multiple areas within treasury (Cash Management, Treasury Operations, Compliance and FX)

Good understanding of GAAP/IFRS accounting standards.

Strong experience using various Treasury, banking, and financial reporting systems. Understanding of local regulations and compliance requirements within India, China and other key APAC markets

Strong curiosity and willingness to learn and improve processes

Ability to work under pressure and perform several tasks concurrently in a deadline driven environment

Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills, and superior attention to detail

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization

Exceptional analytical skills, including Excel and VBA/Macros

A proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to multi-task, think creatively, and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment

Detail-oriented with strong trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills

Able to work independently as well, collaborate across multiple teams in various time zones
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field, or equivalent experience

10+ years of relevant treasury professional experience
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience in tech or digital media industries
-
Experience in global corporate treasury
-
Experience in managing the delivery of local reporting requirements in India and China

Experience using Kyriba TMS and Oracle ERP
-
Experience within a publicly traded company treasury function
