Treasury Manager - ALM

In this role, you will:

We are seeking a highly motivated and diligent Treasury Manager for the Treasury and Investment Management team at N26 Bank to support the management of our fast growing loan and fixed income securities portfolio. You will be actively involved in the day to day asset sourcing, analysis, settlement and ongoing monitoring and reporting processes for a multi-billion EUR investment portfolio. Additionally, you will be entrusted with the management of our securitized assets and will be the point of contact for external investors and stakeholders.

• Analyze new and existing investments in various assets classes.
• Prepare investment opinions, decision papers and regular updates on the investment portfolio for the management board.
• Identify new products or assets, implement these ideas via providing your expertise to the New Product Process.
• Steer the continuous management of our securitized assets, improve processes to optimize efficiency and build and maintain relationship with investors and external stakeholders.
• Trade capturing and portfolio data quality management.
• Prepare portfolio reports and provide input for stress tests.
• Build and maintain dashboards for daily operations monitoring.
• Support various processes with relevant data delivery: other treasury teams, middle & back-office (trade confirmation, settlement), accounting and regulatory reporting.

What you need to be successful:

• Fluency in either German or English is required; both highly preferred.
• Bachelor or Master in Business Administration, Finance, Banking or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of work experience in banking, treasury and/or investment management, ideally with a focus on asset & liability management
• Strong commercial acumen resulting in sound risk/reward judgments.
• Strong presentation skills with ability to convince without hard-selling.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Ability to work accurately and calmly under time pressure and high workload.
• Strong excel modelling skills; additional programming language knowledge (VBA, SQL, Python) is an advantage but not required
