Job Summary
The Treasury Sales Consultant is responsible for the strategic development and direct sales of Treasury Management products and services to new and existing clients. This role focuses on driving business development, enhancing customer relationships, and achieving revenue growth through expert consultation and tailored solutions.

Strategic Planning & Prospecting
- Conduct in-depth research on prospective and existing clients to prepare for meetings and identify opportunities.
- Develop comprehensive pricing scenarios to present to clients.
- Lead client meetings in collaboration with Relationship Managers, showcasing Treasury Management expertise.
- Participate in joint sales calls and strategize with team members to maximize client engagement.
- Prepare and present relationship reviews, ensuring thorough understanding of client needs.
- Create high-quality sales materials, including proposals, schematics, pricing sheets, pitch books, and presentations.
- Demo Treasury management solutions, including Online Banking and other modules, to clients and prospects to assist with sales pitch.
- Follow up diligently on all sales calls to ensure client engagement and satisfaction.
Portfolio Growth & Development
- Identify and pursue new opportunities within the existing portfolio to drive revenue growth.
- Directly engage with existing clients to uncover additional needs and offer appropriate Treasury solutions.
- Collaborate with the treasury management department to review and strategize on new business opportunities.
- Actively generate inside sales leads through networking and relationship building.
Implementation
- Co-lead with the Sales Associate the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a seamless implementation of Treasury products and services.
- Assist the Sales Associate in ensuring timely completion of required legal documentation.
- Work closely with the market to ensure clients have correct account types and account structures.
- Escalate service issues in a timely manner and ensure effective communication regarding significant client-impacting events.
Team Engagement
- Document sales calls within Salesforce.
- Manage opportunity tracking and sales booking through Salesforce to maintain accurate records.
- Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing the customer experience and expanding product offerings.
- Provide backup support for the treasury management department and Sales Associates as needed.
Industry Knowledge
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all Treasury products and services, proactively solving client concerns.
- Participate in industry forums, webinars and events.
- Host bank sponsored seminars.
- Communicate product and sales initiatives to Relationship Managers.
Portfolio & Risk Management
- Proactively manage the Treasury portfolio, balancing growth initiatives with risk management.
- Ensure compliance with all bank policies and procedures
- Maintain accuracy in all documentation and system inputs to uphold data integrity.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business or other related degree.
- Excellent business development, interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
- General knowledge of commercial credit, lending, and strong knowledge of business-related banking services to aid in identifying cross sell opportunities.
- Ability to self-generate and drive new business development.
