Job Summary 

The Treasury Management Services (TMS) Supervisor is responsible for leading the implementation, support, and delivery of the bank's treasury management products and services for small business and commercial clients. This role oversees daily team operations, ensuring exceptional client service, operational efficiency, and compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. As the primary subject matter expert and escalation point for complex treasury management solutions, the TMS Supervisor drives successful client onboarding, implementation, and issue resolution. The position also provides leadership through coaching, training, and performance management while promoting a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Treasury Management Services (TMS) leadership in leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing team of treasury management professionals. 
  • Supervise direct reports, including goal setting, performance management, corrective action administration, and annual performance evaluations. 
  • Monitor team workload, productivity, key performance indicators (KPIs), and service level agreement (SLA) attainment to ensure operational effectiveness. 
  • Lead team meetings, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to support employee development and engagement. 
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, recognition, and employee engagement. 
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex client service issues, ensuring timely resolution and a positive client experience. 
  • Partner closely with Treasury Management Sales to coordinate the onboarding and implementation of high-profile and complex client relationships. 
  • Collaborate with Treasury Management Product Management to ensure team readiness for new products, services, system enhancements, and upgrades. 
  • Ensure the delivery of an exceptional client experience across all treasury management products and services. 
  • Oversee the implementation and ongoing support of treasury management solutions, including: 
  • Online and mobile banking platforms for business and commercial clients
  • ACH and wire origination services
  • Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) and Mobile Remote Deposit Capture (mRDC)
  • Positive Pay services
  • Bill Pay solutions
  • Real-Time Payments (RTP) and Zelle® services
  • Lead departmental cross-training initiatives to strengthen employee knowledge, improve operational flexibility, and support business continuity.
  • Ensure daily operations are conducted in compliance with bank policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. 
  • Identify operational and compliance risks and partner with management to implement appropriate controls and remediation plans. 
  • Support internal audits, compliance reviews, and risk management activities. 
  • Identify, recommend, and communicate process improvement opportunities that enhance efficiency, scalability, and service quality. 
  • Participate in system upgrades, new product implementations, and departmental projects to improve processes and client service delivery. 
  • Assist with the development, maintenance, and periodic review of departmental procedures, workflows, and risk assessments. 
  • Support the TMS Manager in executing strategic initiatives, departmental goals, and organizational priorities. 
  • Travel as needed to support client meetings, relationship-building efforts, training opportunities, and industry events. 
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Compliance Responsibilities 

Complies with all applicable state and federal banking laws, regulations, and internal policies related but not limited to lending, operations, and deposit requirements, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements, Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regulations, Customer Identification Program (CIP) requirements, Financial Elder Abuse reporting laws, Sexual Harassment prevention policies, information security and privacy requirements.

Required Knowledge 

Strong working knowledge of banking regulations and industry guidance, including Regulation CC, Regulation D, Regulation DD, Regulation E, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA/AML), consumer privacy requirements, FFIEC guidance, and FDIC insurance regulations. Ability to apply regulatory requirements to treasury management operations, client onboarding, risk management, and service delivery while ensuring compliance with bank policies and procedures.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong knowledge of Treasury Management products and services, including online banking, ACH, wire transfers, remote deposit capture, positive pay, bill pay, and real-time payment solutions, with the ability to effectively communicate product benefits and recommend appropriate solutions for client needs.

Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered. 
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Treasury Management implementation, client onboarding, and support within a financial institution. 
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience with demonstrated success in coaching, developing, and managing team performance. 
  • Strong knowledge of Treasury Management products, services, and operational processes, including online banking, ACH, wire transfers, remote deposit capture, positive pay, bill pay, and real-time payment solutions. 
  • Experience supporting and administering treasury management platforms and related systems, including Q2/Centrix, FIS, Fiserv Bill Pay, and Wausau/Deluxe Mobile Check Deposit. 
  • Working knowledge of NACHA Operating Rules, electronic payments, and applicable banking regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Professional certifications such as Accredited ACH Professional (AAP), Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), or other relevant banking and treasury management certifications.

Minimum Absence Requirement

Some positions within the Bank have been designated as sensitive positions due to access to critical systems, records, or processes. In accordance with Bank policy and sound internal‑control practices, employees in sensitive positions are required to complete a mandatory consecutive absence from essential duties each calendar year to support segregation of duties and independent review.

The required absence will be scheduled in coordination with management to ensure continuity of operations. Administration of absence, including paid or unpaid status, will comply with all applicable federal, state, and local wage and hour and leave laws, including California requirements.

  • Required Minimum Absence for This Position: Two (2) Consecutive Weeks

Officer Title Eligibility 

For qualified positions, the Bank may designate an Officer Title based on the role’s job level, scope of responsibility, and alignment with established competency frameworks. Eligibility for an Officer Title designation is contingent upon the employee meeting defined competency, performance, and experience requirements and is governed by applicable Bank policies, governance standards, and required approval processes.

  • This position is not eligible for an Officer Title.

Compensation

The listed range represents the full compensation range for this position. Placement within the range will be determined based on factors including skills, relevant experience, job‑related qualifications, geographic location, and internal equity, in accordance with Bank compensation policies.

  • Non‑Exempt Hourly Rate: $31.50 – $50.50 per hour
