Job Summary

The TM, Sales & Payments Advisor Sr is responsible for developing new business within prospects, as well as existing clients. Position is required to consistently meet balance, Treasury Services revenue, and profit budgets. Responsibilities include maintaining a high level of qualified in-person calling activity, completing responses to customer or prospect request for proposal and general sales activity. Position maintains senior level contact (Treasurer, CFO) with Bank’s largest priority clients and prime prospects. Develops territory plans, account strategies, and call plans required to consistently achieve revenue and profit goals. Coordinates calling activity with assigned relationship managers. Provides account reviews for assigned top priority customers, while managing the deposit and service portfolio of the Bank’s largest commercial clients. Participates in independent and/or joint calling with product partners. Participates in community and industry events.
Pay Range: $117,185 - $155,270 - $193,355

Job Responsibilities:

  • New business development activities including calling efforts, joint sales opportunities and revenue generation .
  • Managing existing client portfolio, performing relationship reviews, servicing clients and increasing product cross-sell opportunities.
  • Generating proposals, responding to RFP’s and coordinating the implementation of new clients and services.
  • Participating in various special projects, treasury management initiatives and other assignments.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Complete all required compliance training. Maintain knowledge of and adhere to Flagstar's internal compliance policies and procedures. Keep up to date with changing regulations and policies.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • MBA or Masters degree in a related field such as finance or marketing is strongly desired
  • Certified Treasury Professional designation (CTP) as awarded by the Association for Financial Professionals is strongly preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years in a treasury sales role
  • Demonstrated comprehensive understanding of treasury management products and services
  • Strong understanding of business cash flows, accounting processes and financial optimization
  • Strong understanding of value propositions related to treasury management applications within a corporate treasury environment
  • General understanding of both business and banking regulations such as UCC, Reg CC, Reg E and regulatory guidance/oversight
  • Advanced sales/negotiation aptitude and the ability to tactfully communicate at a senior executive level
  • Maintain senior level contact with top clients and high priority prospects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to think both creatively and strategically when devising a client solution
  • Possesses strong aptitude for time management, organization and the ability to manage multiple initiatives successfully
  • Ability to prepare, present and direct client proposals
  • Has the ability to mobilize internal networks and resources to resolve a service challenge or develop a solution
