POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
 

This role is a position for an officer with limited sales experience to be able to develop the necessary skills for calling on Treasury Management ("TM") clients for depository and fee-based opportunities in the Bank’s market. This position will have TM production and growth goals, but at a lower expectation level than a more seasoned officer and will also have responsibility to manage an existing portfolio of client relationships with the intent that the associate could take over some portfolio from an existing Treasury Management Officer ("TMO"). In addition, this role is responsible for supporting TMOs in their efforts in identifying, developing, and managing commercial depository relationships. This position will assist TMOs with relationship management and business development efforts, with the principle focus on TM products and services. The primary objective for this position is to grow the necessary experience and knowledge to become a more effective relationship manager for TM clients.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
 
Minimum of 1 years of sales experience preferred.
 
Previous Treasury Management or banking experience preferred.
 
Demonstrated history of successful sales experience.
 
Professional communication skills, ability to prioritize, and critical thinking skills required.
 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Portfolio Management
  • Support assigned TMOs to execute relationship management strategies to their portfolio of clients.
  • Ongoing, superior account relationship management of portfolio of clients.
  • Identify opportunities to deepen relationships for both new and existing clients.
  • Assist Treasury Management Operations in opening new accounts properly.

  • Learn Treasury Management solutions to consult clients on cash management solutions.
  • Assist TMOs to prepare proposals for current and new client presentations.
  • Responsible for logging sales efforts within tracking system.
  • Generate revenue from sales of Treasury Management products and services.
  • Devise and implement personal calling strategy to meet call quota and sales goals.

  • Complete required TM training.
  • Be involved in the community through volunteerism on civic and non-profit boards.
  • Learn the credit culture of Republic Bank in order to present appropriate credits for approval.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
 
  • Travel between Republic Banking facilities may be required including occasional out of town travel.
  • Flexible work schedule may include some evenings, weekends and/or overtime.
  • Stay abreast of new developments, best practices, and statutory and regulatory changes.
