Job Description

Job Summary:

Assists in managing product strategy, as well as driving the tactical aspects of assigned product portfolio to meet the needs of our targeted markets and the strategic goals of Treasury Management. A product manager is responsible for managing product lifecycle processes including ideation, strategy, development, management, marketing, communication, commercialization, profitability, sales support strategies and ongoing monitoring and risk management.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze the selection, design, development and promotion of new or existing products utilizing traditional and emerging capabilities in technology, operations, and data analytics to offer customers a differentiated product solutions.
  • Analyzes product, technology, and market trends and third party requirements as necessary, to develop and design innovative features of new and/or existing products or enhancements. Manages the development, production, roll-out, pricing or promotion of products or initiatives, and recognizes, anticipates and resolves operational and process problems that arise.
  • Develops and sets strategies and goals for the development and marketing of Treasury Management products, including market direction, target customer, pricing, and cost plans; monitors marketing goals against current objectives; oversees risk management/monitoring including regulatory compliance.
  • Works with internal and external partners including sales, marketing, digital channel delivery, and may participate in client-facing activities throughout the product lifecycle. As part of the first line of defense, supports risk management, compliance, and audit needs as necessary.
  • Monitors and analyzes business results of recently introduced or existing products, coordinates reporting, and may recommend modifications to improve results. Drives business, financial and customer experience results for assigned products and initiatives and recommends modifications in product features and/or marketing to improve results.
  • Provides product training for sales and product staff, operational partners, and appropriate customer support partners. May be liaison across the footprint for product knowledge and implementation of new banking relationships. Participates in promotional conferences, tradeshows, expos and other related forums.
  • Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and commercial banking experience.

Minimum Experience:

Six (6) plus years of experience in Commercial Payment, Treasury Management Services and/or Commercial Banking.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Strong Communication and Presentation Skills:

  • Exceptional ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated skill in delivering clear and compelling presentations.

Treasury Management Expertise:

  • Direct experience in Treasury Management Sales, Treasury Management Operations, or Treasury Management Client Support.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of Treasury Management applications and products.

Excellent Project Management Skills:

  • Proven ability to effectively manage projects from initiation to completion.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure successful project outcomes.

Leadership and Influencing Skills:

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with the capacity to influence individuals and drive collaborative efforts.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve desired outcome

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint:

  • Strong competency in using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to create professional documents, analyze data, and create impactful presentations.

Analytical Skills:

  • Strong analytical aptitude with the ability to review and interpret data with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in identifying patterns, trends, and insights to inform decision-making.

Data Gathering and Decision-making:

  • Ability to gather relevant data points, synthesize information, and use critical thinking to arrive at well-informed decisions.
  • Skill in crafting a cohesive narrative to support decision-making processes.

Business Acumen and Prioritization:

  • Utilization of business understanding and acumen to prioritize tasks, ensuring that the right activities are executed at the righttime.
  • Ability to align strategic goals with day-to-day operations and make informed choices based on business priorities.
