The Treasury Management Consulting Manager is responsible for leading a team of individual contributors and managers delivering strategic treasury management guidance to clients across diverse industries, including Health Care, Higher Education, and Not-for-Profit sectors. This role oversees team performance, operational execution, process improvement initiatives, and risk-managed delivery of consulting services.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capability, deep consultative expertise, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders while driving a culture of talent development and operational excellence.
In this role, you will:
Leadership & Team Management
- Manage and develop a Treasury Management Consulting team of individual contributors in roles with moderate complexity and risk
- Provide coaching, performance management, professional development, and build strong talent pipelines to support the long-term needs of the organization
- Foster a culture centered on accountability, inclusion, continuous improvement, and employee engagement
- Lead consulting coverage and strategies for Health Care, Higher Education, and Not-for-Profit clients, ensuring industry-specific treasury needs are addressed with accuracy and insight
- Serve as a senior-level sponsor for key client initiatives and strategic opportunities
- Determine and execute the appropriate strategy, priorities, and actions for the Treasury Management Consulting team to meet moderate- to high-risk deliverables
- Interpret, develop, and implement policies and procedures within the functional area, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory expectations
- Engage and influence stakeholders, internal partners, senior leaders, and peers across the enterprise
- Collaborate with all levels of internal and external professionals, including managers and key client decision-makers, to deliver high-impact treasury solutions
- Identify, recommend, and implement opportunities for process improvement, operational efficiencies, and enhanced risk controls
- Oversee the development and delivery of reports, performance metrics, and strategic insights to support business decision-making
- Manage the allocation of people and financial resources for the Treasury Management Consulting function
- Ensure organizational structures, staffing, and operational practices align with business strategy and future growth
- 6+ years of Treasury Management Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years of management or leadership experience
- 3 years of demonstrated experience supporting or advising clients within the Health Care, Higher Education, and Not-for-Profit sectors
- Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop talent, including building strong and diverse talent pipelines
- Strong capability to influence and engage senior leaders, cross-functional partners, and external clients, including experience providing executive-level sponsorship or guidance
- Experience leading teams responsible for moderate- to high-risk deliverables, with a strong focus on risk management and operational excellence
- Demonstrated expertise in identifying and driving process improvements, operational efficiencies, and risk control enhancements
- Ability to interpret, implement, and provide guidance on policies, procedures, and compliance requirements related to treasury or financial services operations
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with experience developing and communicating metrics, performance insights, and strategic recommendations
- Demonstrated success in managing resource allocation, budgeting, and staffing strategy for a consulting or financial services team
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with professionals at all organizational levels
- This position will require up to 50% of travel
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule
