Job SummaryThe Treasury Associate will be an integral part of a small but growing finance team. In this role, you'll work closely with the Treasury Manager to handle Treasury operations and aspects of Treasury management, including assisting with cash forecasting and daily cash management, developing and providing cash balance analysis, and other miscellaneous tasks.
- Assist with the daily cash management process - responsible for checking and preparing payments in the bank portal and treasury management system, Kyriba.
- Verify vendor banking information and updates in the ERP.
- Assist with maintaining cash balances and cash movements between multiple operating accounts to meet liquidity needs.
- Assist with the management of bank accounts, including opening/closing bank accounts globally, updating/tracking bank account signature changes, and assisting with the administration of online banking platforms.
- Prepare daily bank balance report and additional reports required by management for liquidity analysis.
- Work closely with Accounting and IT on payment automation projects and the integration of the banking system to the ERP.
- Assist with Treasury and Accounting system implementations.
- Assist with preparing and documenting department procedures/policies.
Education: BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or Business Economics
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of previous treasury/banking experience in a mid-size company
- Previous experience in the Cruise industry is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to convey ideas clearly and effectively.
- Highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on meeting deadlines
- Highly skilled in critical thinking and complex problem analysis
- Strong organizational abilities, strategic problem-solving, and proactive follow-through
- Collaborative and thrives in team-oriented environments
- Self-starter, able to function with little supervision
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to build and maintain good rapport with internal and external customers and handle situations with confidence, tact, and resourcefulness
- Flexible, adaptable, with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast-paced office environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Software and/or Kyriba will be considered a strong asset
