Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Treasury Assistant to join our Finance team. This entry-level position is ideal for a recent college or university graduate pursuing a career in finance or accounting. The successful candidate will assist in managing clerical treasury tasks and support the team in various functions to ensure efficient treasury operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter financial data into the treasury management system and other databases, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Perform general clerical duties such as filing, scanning documents, and maintaining organized records related to treasury activities.
• Assist the treasury team with daily activities, including monitoring cash flows, preparing reports, and reconciling accounts as needed.
• Liaise with internal departments to collect necessary information and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining accurate documentation related to treasury transactions and processes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures in all treasury-related tasks.

QualificationsEducation: 

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited college or university is preferred.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in finance or accounting is desirable but not mandatory for recent graduates.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with financial software or treasury management systems is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for accuracy in data entry and reporting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze information and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
